The program will kick-off on June 8 at the M. Dorcas Clark, MD Women’s Imaging Center located in the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
At the opening session, each participant will be provided a personalized health evaluation including body metrics and a breast cancer risk assessment. A camp T-shirt, pedometer, informational handouts and an exercise band also will be provided.
After the initial evaluation, participants will meet at the Chevy Chase Community Center for twelve weeks on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. beginning Tuesday June 11.
A wrap-up event will be held on August 31 for all participants at the Imaging Center.
