Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer found in American men.
In fact, of all men diagnosed with cancer each year, about 1/3 have prostate cancer.
The good news is prostate cancer is a slow-growing disease and is curable if found early.
That’s why the Chevy Chase Community Action Council and the Institute for Healthy Living have teamed up to offer free Prostate screenings on Monday, June 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chevy Chase Community Center.
If you are a man over the age of 50 up to 70 years or a younger man who has a family history of prostate cancer or an African American man call the Institute for Healy living at 724-357-8088 to schedule and appointment.
