The Chevy Chase Community Action Council takes seriously its commitment to operate a Community Center that embodies the spirit of community on which it was founded. Your assistance is critical to helping us build on our mission and support our neighbors in need.
Honor & Memorial Gifts
A gift to CCCC in honor or memory of a loved one is a meaningful tribute for any occasion. Many people make tax deductible annual contributions to CCCC because they know that every gift we receive enhances our education and service programs. When you make a gift in honor or in memory of a loved one, you will receive a thank-you letter. We also send acknowledgement to the family member(s) to notify them that we have received a gift in memory of their loved one or in his/her honor. The amount of your gift will not be disclosed.
On many occasions family members want to find a special way to thank us for the services we provide, especially when their loved one had a special affiliation with our organization. Memorial gifts can be made to CCCC in their name when arrangements are made with the funeral home and the newspaper. Please feel free to contact us for assistance and/or additional information.
Memorial Tributes – Engraved Bricks and Plaques
CCCC is reconstructing the walkway leading to our front entrance. You can be a permanent part of CCCC and have your name in our memorial pathway forever. Placing a brick in the Memorial walkway is a wonderful way to remember loved ones, honor friends or commemorate special occasions or a milestone in your life, or give tribute to businesses or organizations. Bricks are available in 8″ x 4″ or 8”x8” and can be engraved with your loved one’s name or a special message.
Bricks are available for a tax deductible donation. Please contact us for an order form.
In addition to memorial bricks, we offer specially designed personalized plaques placed strategically within the Center.
Your financial contributions ensure we are able to maintain the building and provide support for our programs and services.
